Last updated: November 26, 2025

CardLens ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you use the CardLens mobile application (the "App") and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

1. Information We Collect

We believe in minimizing data collection. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it for support purposes.

Advertising Identifier (IDFA)

With your explicit permission via the iOS App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we may collect your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA).

  • Purpose: The IDFA is used solely for the purpose of delivering personalized advertisements and attribution of app installs.
  • User Control: You have full control over this data. You will be asked for permission to track upon first launching the App. You can grant or deny this permission. Furthermore, you can change this setting at any time in your iOS device settings under Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
  • No Linking: We do not link your IDFA to any other personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect (the IDFA, if granted) strictly for:

  • Providing relevant advertisements to you within the App.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns (attribution).

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Retention

We only retain collected data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.

5. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
